First Sac Punchline of 2014
What a great way to get this year started off. I already got to do a set at the Punchline. And it was a blast just like last time. This time it was more challenging than before, because the crowd didn’t know what they wanted to do. They didn’t even know why they had come there. I had to ask one lady where she was before she came. She said she had been at work. It turned out that her and her friends got free tickets to see the show. So I asked what it was that made them decide to take advantage of that opportunity, and they said they wanted to have a good time. Then I asked if rather than laugh, they just wanted to have a good time, and people starting making protesting sounds and said they wanted to laugh. How slow can you get. Anyway. So I had time for one joke and told the one about my weight lifting friend that likes coffee.
