Sac Comedy Fest Wild Card
The Comedy Spot had a wild card round for their Sacramento Comedy Festival competition. I got rejected from the initial submission. I told them I was a joker, which is a wild card, so they let me in. I did my set last night. The crowd was tense. I don’t get it. They’re not the ones competing. They said they wanted to laugh, so I told some jokes. After that I ate some pizza with some friends, and then I went and danced at Press Club for an hour. Then I rode my bike home, drenched in sweat, and caught three more baby cockroaches in my bathroom, for a total of four. I caught an adult like a week ago. It’s the only cockroach I’ve ever found live in my apartment, except for the one I found right by my front door years ago, and I’ve lived here for 8 years. I think it laid eggs under my bathroom sink cabinet. I just caught three more tonight too, so now I have seven.
