The Rejects of Standup did SF

So we did the second Rejects of Standup show, this time in SF at the Stage Werx Theatres new location, 446 Valencia. People kept saying it was the first show, but I guess that’s just because it had been so long since the real first one, that people forgot. We had Vahé Hova, Keon Kobra, Johnny Squires, Me, Suraj Menon, Aaron Crouch, Eric Steele, Chris Schiappacasse, and Sweet Gale. I didn’t know if Sweet Gale could headline, but she ended up being our headliner and man she was incredible. Yeah alright, so the flyer said $10, but no one paid, and the crowd wasn’t that big, and we paid $200 to rent the theater. So what. We don’t know what we’re doing, but we know what we want to do, so we’re trying to figure it out. We’re going to take a lot of losses to get there. But as far as the show being a quality show, it blew our last one away. I didn’t think my performance was spectacular, but it was okay. Suraj, Chris and Sweet Gail pretty much destroyed and I had tears running down my cheeks throughout the show. Can’t wait for the next one. Maybe in Fairfield?

Special thanks for the Stage Werx, Eric Steele for running our lights and sound, and to Aaron Crouch for helping usher in people from the sidewalk during the show. Oh yeah and Victor Escobedo for being the one person who said they planned to go and actually went.
